RESPECT FOR THE SPACE AND EACH OTHER IS ESSENTIAL. 

  • Zero tolerance for harassment or disrespect, doing so will result in immediate expulsion from the festival. We're counting on everyone to bring a positive, communal attitude.

  • Know your limits. Taking care of yourself is important for the safety of everyone.

  • Stay hydrated, eat often, & stay in tune with your body . The music doesn’t stop. Its all great. Its everywhere. YOU ARE THE HEADLINER, you’re not missing anything.

  • Share space with others. Make space for your neighbor to dance!

  • Look after each other.  If someone looks unwell, is acting recklessly or harassing others -- please report it to security and/or first aid immediately (or inform the mad liberation info booth or front gate)

The Pine Barrens is a living and breathing ecosystem!

  • Leave no trace. That includes cigarette butts, cans/cups, trash, and leaving things behind at your cabin or campsite. Don't bring glitter, confetti, etc. Keep it clean & pick up litter as you go. 

The Pine Barrens burns often!

  • CAREFULLY STOMP AND THROW YOUR CIGARETTE BUTTS IN THE TRASH

    No open fires! If caught you will be expunged from the campgrounds

    • No dirt bikes or ATVs

    Swim only in the designated swimming area (NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - swim at your own risk - no child under the age of 18 is allowed to swim by themselves)

  • No grilling, fires or fireworks. The only grill allowed will be at the BBQ & Beats stage (as well as our food vendors of course).

  • No graffiti/ spray cans. Select graffiti artists will be doing live murals during the festival. They won’t let you use their spray cans. Please don’t ask them.

  • Zero tolerance for theft, vandalism or illegal substances.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

WATER! (There will be water available by every stage in gatorade coolers with cups nearby, every faucet in the campgrounds has clean drinking water, the info booth & front gate will have water bottles available, and camp counselors will be walking around checking in on everyone and handing out free water.)

Sleeping bag/bedding for your tent (expect temperatures as high as 95 degrees in the day & as low as 65 degrees in the night - Fahrenheit). 

Warm clothes, extra socks, shoes & rain gear.  It gets very cold at night and will likely rain!!  

Bug spray. Check for ticks because there is Lyme disease in the area. (pine flies are most active at dusk & dawn, beware)

Don't bring laptops or valuables.

Cash. There will be two ATMs on site if need be (one by the front gate & one by the main stage).

An ID for check in that matches your ticket.

Make a note of your bus ticket times. (this only applies to those traveling by shuttle).

Bathing suit and towel.

BYOB (no glass please). There will be no alcohol sold on-site.

Snacks & food! (There will be food vendors available if you’d rather pack light)

Sunscreen

Campsite Decorations/ christmas lights? :)

Yoga Mat (yoga is Saturday morning in the workshop space)

If you're camping:

•  A double skin tent that has both an inner and outer layer that aren't touching each other. This is the key to staying waterproof! Outer tent gets damp, inner tent stays dry.
•  Air or foam mattress - sleep with a barrier between you and the cold (+ potentially damp) ground.
•  Tarp - put under your tent for an extra layer between you and the ground.
•  Flashlight
•  There is a faucet safe for drinking water & for hand washing available at all campsites, and showers in the bath house.

First Aid / EMT: Always open, they're in the large tent next to the main lodge/ backstage area (directly where the road first splits when you enter the campground). Please wake the medics if needed.
Campsite: Every faucet has clean drinking water.
Showers: located in the main bath house across from the troubadour/ beach area.
Parking lot: If you have a car camping pass, front gate personnel will direct you towards your camping spot. If you don’t have a car camping pass, you will be directed to park outside of the front gate.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Unfortunately it has 2/3 years so far, so come prepared! The stages will still operate under a brisk rainfall, however we will shut down stages at the first glimpse of lightning or thunder, or upon the discretion of safety personnel. Bring a raincoat, extra socks, and if you're camping, a waterproof tarp.
